Program Description

Event Details

Butterflies are one of a garden’s most beautiful insects, but they also play an important role as pollinators. Discover more about our local butterfly species and gain tips on how to create a butterfly garden. Any garden, big or small, can become a butterfly haven.

Noelle Johnson will sell and sign her book, Dry Climate Gardening, after the presentation.

You may enjoy visiting our Monarch Butterfly Haven and Reading Sanctuary while you're here.

This program supports the City of Mesa’s Climate Action Plan (MCAP), a Mayor and Council priority initiative to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, build resilience in our community, and address the negative outcomes of a changing climate.
