In honor of Black History Month, curator, Bruce Nelson will screen and discuss 2 short documentary films and a trailer focusing on Soldiers of color. The 1940's recruiting film "The Negro Soldier" traces the role and accomplishments of the Black Soldiers in American History. "A Frontier Post", is a 1920's silent film which documented the lives of the Buffalo Soldiers in the 10th Calvary. There will be a Q&A following the films.
