Event Details

Come make book buddies and book buddy kits to support building strong reading habits in children. Handmade book buddies are given to children through various programs and events that Kids Need to Read® hosts. These buddies encourage children to practice reading on a daily basis. Buddies made during the workshop will be used by Kids Need to Read® for future giving events.  Sewing skills are helpful but not necessary. 

 

Ages 13 to Adult welcomed. 

 

No materials are necessary, but donations of Fleece, Flannel, Cotton, Poly Fill, and safety eyes will be welcomed. Please email Jessica@kidsneedtoread.org for additional questions.
