The first book for our new IDEAS book group (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Sustainability) will be Good Boy: My Life in Seven Dogs by Jennifer Finney Boylan.

Unlike people, dogs cannot pretend to be someone they are not--they can only be their true selves.  As Jim Boylan, he learned this first lesson.  As Jennifer Boylan, she learned the second lesson: the love that we have for dogs and that dogs have for us, teaches us to love and understand the humans in our lives. “Everything I know about love,” she writes, “I learned from dogs.”
