Program Description

Event Details

Big plot elements are important but it's the microtension events such as footsteps behind us, that make the reader continue to turn the pages. To understand how microtension works, Writer in Residence Marylee MacDonald will use a single passage from author Margot Livesey's novel entitled Homework.
This program is supported by the Arizona State Library, a division of the Secretary of State, with federal funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
