Program Description

Event Details

Celebrate National Genealogy Month by planting a tree in honor of your family tree. Free desert tree seedlings (mesquite and desert willow) will be provided by the City of Mesa's Environmental & Sustainability Department. This is an open-house style program where you can select your tree and also learn more about how to plant and maintain them in your landscape. While there, visit our information tables about Mesa’s Grass-to-Xeriscape incentive that can pay out up to $1,100. There will also be details on Mesa Library’s Seed Library, Safe Digging – Arizona 811 details, and more. Seedlings are limited to one per household and will be first come, first served while supplies last.
