Program Description

Event Details

Point of View (POV) is the viewpoint, or perspective, from which your reader will view the story. Selecting the best lens through which the reader views the action influences the structure of the story as well as the narrative voice. This workshop goes beyond first-person, second-person, etc., and delves into how the role of the POV character affects voice, tone, and reader distance and engagement.
This program is supported by the Arizona State Library, a division of the Secretary of State, with federal funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
