Program Description

Event Details

As Arizona commemorates America’s 250th anniversary, the Arizona America250 Commission is proud to announce the Road to 250: Arizona Traveling Museum, a mobile exhibition that will tour all 15 counties, will arrive at Red Mountain Library on Saturday, February 28, 2026.  The exhibit will be on display from 10 am until 5 pm.

Presented by Banner Health, the centerpiece of the traveling museum is a replica of the Liberty Bell, one of a limited number located across the country. The bell, which typically resides at the Arizona State Capitol, will travel aboard the museum as a powerful symbol of freedom, independence, and civic responsibility – offering visitors across the state a rare opportunity to experience this iconic representation of America’s founding ideals up close.

Housed in a custom-retrofitted trailer through MRA Mobile Experiential, the Arizona Traveling Museum is designed to generate enthusiasm and civic pride in celebration of the 250th milestone, bringing history, storytelling, and civic reflection directly to cities, towns, and rural communities across the state. From Nogales to Page and everywhere in between, the stops will be added to the community calendar at america250az.org/events or follow-on social media for latest information.
