There are a lot of options when publishing a book, and it is difficult to know what avenue is best for you. This Q&A session will cover what self-publishing is, how difficult it is, and the benefits and challenges of self-publishing versus traditional publishing. Come get your questions answered by Yolie Hernandez of AZ Book Designer. Yolie Hernandez is the founder and owner of AZ Book Designer. Yolie has over fifteen years of experience in the publishing industry. In 2007 she was awarded a fellowship to attend the Stanford University Publishing Courses for Professionals. Since then, she has expanded her experience to the design of e-books and is an expert cover and book block designer. She is also the production director for the Hispanic Institute of Social Issues, where she oversees the production of their books, from editing to design to print. It is Yolie’s desire to empower current and future writers with self-publishing knowledge that will enable them to create and publish their own works.
