Join Keath Hall, Artistic Director of Southwest Shakespeare Company, for an interactive discussion on how famous queens and princesses navigated society's goals and expectations. It is based on the Elizabeth I: In Her Own Words, a tour de force one woman show being presented by Southwest Shakespeare at Mesa Arts Center October 18-25.   In addition to becoming Artistic Director of SSC in 2025, after 18 years as a company member, Keath is a high school theater teacher with a B.A. in History and an M.A. in Literature.

Get a chance to win tickets or books as door prizes and participate in fun and conversation.  “Though the sex to which I belong is considered weak you will nevertheless find me a rock that bends to no wind.”--Elizabeth I, Queen of England

Stories & Stages: A Celebration of Reading and Performing Great Works of Literature is a year-long partnership between Mesa Public Library and Southwest Shakespeare Company.
