Event Details

One of our puppets mysteriously landed on Mars through a secret tunnel in the library and we need your stuffed animal's help in rescuing him! If you think your stuffed pal is brave enough to handle a two day rescue mission away from home, drop your stuffed pal off during our Stuffed Animal Sleepover: Mars Storytime event at 10:30am or at the Youth Services Desk between 3:00-6:00pm. During your stuffed animal's stay with us, we'll document their galactic adventures for social media and then create an original documentary style film with the help of local photojournalist and video expert, Chris Picciuolo. This film will premier at the start of our Family Sock Hop on July 27 at 2:00pm to celebrate the end of our Summer Reading Program. Copies of the film will also be emailed to participants to view from home. Families may begin to pick up their stuffed animals on Saturday, July 13 beginning at 3pm. Only one stuffed animal per child, please. All ages.
