Year Up: Connecting Young Adults with Education and the Workplace

Year Up is a nonprofit which readies community college students for the workforce, in addition to encouraging education.  This year-long program trains under-served adults aged 18-24 on workplace skills and how to gain college credits, while connecting them with major companies for internships. 

Participants are required to be students and all of the employers who partner with the program must offer tuition assistance. Year Up participants are encouraged to continue their education after they finish the program.  Matthew Castner will explain the process and answer questions from interested attendees.
