You don’t need to be a computer whiz to learn the fundamentals of coding. We’ll use logic games and exercises to help children build cognitive skills that will be a strong foundation for learning how to code. For ages 6-8.

Ever wanted to learn how to code? Learn how to make computer games and websites - no previous computer or coding experience necessary. Follow our lessons at your own pace, and you'll be coding in no time! For ages 8 to 14.

You're halfway through the school week. Come unwind with games in the Teen Zone. Play Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, or X Box One-S. Or choose to play one of our many board and card games. Ages 12-18.

Gather with other kids and get crafty! Complete the craft of the week or get creative and make something else with the supplies provided. For grades 2-8.

From January through March, the Mesa Public Library is hosting mystery author and writing coach Betty Webb as its very own Writer in Residence.

During this introductory workshop, learn about basic bicycle techniques, rules, and equipment, and get a brief update on Mesa's bicycle projects and events. All participants will receive free bicycle safety gear. Ages 12+.
