Let your baby explore the world of music with pots, shakers, bells and other musical instruments. 

Crocheting on your own is fun, but it's always better to crochet together.  Come hangout with us at this relaxed and social crochet circle.  All levels are welcome and instructor led lessons will be available to absolute beginners.

Join us on our reading adventure with Around the World Storytime.

Join us for a morning of guided play. Join your young child in a meaningful play experience that will enhance a variety of skills.  A materials kit with the corresponding theme will be available for check out. 

Bring your little makers for a family-friendly hour of parent and child maker time. We will have STEAM  coloring crafts,  electronic toys, coding board games and electronics learning kits for older children.

Bring picture books to life by going on an imaginative adventure in this drama focused storytime. Children will deepen early literacy skills as they explore magical worlds, problem-solve, and become characters in the story.

Celebrate the expansion of Monterey Park and the opening of the new Mesa Express Library! 

Measure your computer skills and use interactive training to build your tech knowledge in areas such as email, Microsoft Word, social media and using the internet.

Author, ghostwriter, and paranormal expert Dan Baldwin will speak on “Knocking on Heaven's Door: Psychic Detecting, Speaking with Spirits, and the U-F-What?”

His books will be available for sale and signing after the presentation.

Come explore your creative side at the library with LEGO®. Children can either follow a monthly theme or build from their imaginations. LEGO® and DUPLO® blocks will be provided.

Adult non-native speakers are welcome--no need to register.

Pre-requisite: A working knowledge of how to use a computer mouse and keyboard.

Walk in and make a craft, listen to a story,  or conduct an experiment. Something fun will be happening on a Wednesday afternoon in the Youth Activity Room.

Each month we will read a book from the world of Percy Jackson and then meet up at the library to enjoy trivia, games and crafts inspired by the book.

Learn the basics of meditation with simple yet powerful techniques that will help you deal with stress wherever you are. We will be seated in chairs, so you do not need a mat.  You may wish to bring a pillow to support your back.

Learn and play Dungeons & Dragons®  with an experienced player.  Already know how to play? Come in and use the space to lead your own campaign. New players are welcome.
