Local Author of the Month

Lois Grunwald is our December Local Author of the Month. She will appear to sign her poetry chapbook Capacious Earth, published by Finishing Line Press in October 2015. It was short-listed in the Ruby Irene Poetry Chapbook 2014 contest by Arcadia Magazine. The book was also a finalist and “merit” chapbook in the Comstock Review’s Jessie Bryce Niles Chapbook Contest in 2014, and was also a finalist in the Comstock Review’s Writers Group Chapbook Contest. Her poems have appeared in the Iowa Poetry Source Anthology, Leaves by Night, Flowers by Day. The Local Author will be in the Library on 1 Saturday afternoon a month to meet & greet patrons and to discuss, sell & sign his/her books. A different author will be featured each month and will appear at each location during the month unless otherwise stated.
