Join us for a morning of guided play. Join your young child in a meaningful play experience that will enhance a variety of skills.  A materials kit with the corresponding theme will be available for check out.

Taiko is the Japanese word for “great drum”.  Historically used as a means of communication or on the battlefield, today its purpose is more spiritual and celebratory.  It has now evolved into a powerful performing art.

 Learn fun, simple “plant-based food art” techniques, with Melanie Albert, creator of the Plant-Based Food Art Movement. Melanie will demonstrate how to prepare beautiful Raw Carrot Carrot Cake and Sauce & Swirl

This class will explain genealogical research methods for those whose ancestors may not appear in census documents:  African-Americans, Indigenous peoples, and Mexican-Americans.
