 zona ghost towns. In addition to an entertaining, visual display of the co
 mmunities, towns and settlements that contributed to the early growth of t
 he state, this presentation also focuses on respect for these diminishing 
 historic resources.  \r\nJay Mark, a resident of Arizona for more 50 yea
 rs, brings a lifetime of experience and knowledge to his lively, casual an
 d engaging presentations. He is a writer of more than 800 articles about l
 ocal and Arizona history. Frequently invited to speak to a variety of grou
 ps, he has also taught, since 1984, popular continuing education classes i
 n the Maricopa Community College District. He is regularly invited to shar
 e his expertise as a guest lecturer at ASU. Awards like the SHPO/APF Gover
 nor’s Heritage Preservation award have recognized his expertise.\r\nThis
