Paws2Read

Paws 2 Read is a non-profit organization that pairs registered animal therapy teams with young readers to help encourage children to read by providing a non-judgmental listener and furry friend to read to that won’t laugh at them if they make a mistake or stumble over a word. Children are greeted with warm hearts and wet noses as they embark on the journey of a great book. This program pairs Delta-registered therapy animals and their handlers with young readers ranging from 1st to 10th grades in a library environment.
