Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War

Michael Booth will discuss how he became interested in researching his family history and, further, to the Civil War itself. He currently has one of the largest number of Civil War Veterans ancestry certificates in the State of Arizona. These certificates were approved through the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War. He owns a collection of original photos, medals, buttons, currency, documents and post cards from the Civil War era. He will also relate how his family is connected to President Abraham Lincoln.
