Program Description

Event Details

Scientists want to know! Step into a new kind of space mission by looking at a set of NASA online images for signs of clouds above Mars. Every cloud you spot helps NASA scientists understand daily and seasonal weather patterns on the Red Planet, informing future missions and research.

This event is part of Do NASA Science LIVE!, a series of events produced by SciStarter featuring NASA citizen science projects that need your help. During the events, we'll learn about a project, hear from a project scientist, and do the project together. Your questions will be answered in real-time, too! All you need is a computer, iPad, or smartphone with Wi-Fi...and your curiosity!

No experience or special equipment required. All you need is a computer, tablet, or smartphone with Wi-Fi and curiosity!

This program supports the City of Mesa’s Climate Action Plan (MCAP), a Mayor and Council priority initiative to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, build resilience in our community, and address the negative outcomes of a changing climate.
