Join author Sharon Skinner as she presents on how to edit your work as a writer while also knowing what to do when working with an editor.
Writers need to know how to edit their work. Not only must they ensure the draft they submit to an agent or editor is as close to perfect as possible, but they also need to understand what to do when working with an editor.
Sharon Skinner is an Author, Certified Book Coach, and Freelance Editor, who helps writers weave their words into stories that shine. She edits and coaches fiction, memoir, and non-fiction. She writes speculative fiction for all ages, particularly fantasy, science fiction, paranormal and steampunk. She has published nine novels, two short story and poetry collections, two picture books, and other assorted writings. Her latest novel is Lostuns Found, a MG Steampunk adventure, and her most recent collection, Blood From a Rose, is dark fantasy and light horror with a touch of humor. Sharon has over three decades of demonstrated teaching experience and the proven ability to work with writers of diverse skill levels and backgrounds. Previous teaching/workshop facilitation experience includes Virginia G. Piper (Workshop Presenter, 2017) and San Diego State Writers Conference (Faculty, 2017).
