Come celebrate the Spring season at the Red Mountain Library Spring Festival. There will be carnival style games, crafts, and more for kids aged 3-8 and their families. 

Yoga & Me is a 4-week yoga and mindfulness series for children ages 5-7 designed to support emotional awareness, compassion, self-regulation, and expression.

We’ll break out games and cards and families can choose their favorites to play. Playing games helps develop your imagination, teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Learn about different cultures through food by passing the plate! We will explore how common everyday foods are utilized in various types of cooking. Together, we will cook a simple dish so you can experience food for yourself. 

Get creative and transform an old CD into a wind spinner using beads, gemstones, and paint.

Whether you're a beginner or looking to refresh your skills, join us for a fun and relaxed crochet class! Learn the basics, work on creative projects, and enjoy a welcoming space to stitch and socialize.

Come for a fun engaging outdoor STEAM program designed to spark curiosity and creativity in young minds!  Each session features hands-on, nature-inspired activities that blend science and art in exciting ways.

In celebration of America 250 the library is hosting the Great Arizona Puppet Theaters presentation of The Little Red Hen.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to create a machine that solves a problem—maybe even saves the world! In 60 minutes, use Micro: bit and other mini-robotics platforms to explore coding, engineering, and creative problem-solving.

Are you a fan of the Pokémon© Trading Card Game? Then the Red Mountain Trading Card Game Club is the place for you! Bring your most powerful Pokémon© deck to the library and play against other kids in your community.

Young Flow Yoga offers a playful yoga session for young visitors, using movement, balance, and confidence-building to teach calm strategies and mindfulness. In this 60-minute class, children learn poses they can use every day.

Blast off at the library and explore what’s happening beyond Earth! Kids and adults will learn about space missions, NASA launches, and new discoveries, from rockets and astronauts to planets, satellites, and what’s coming next.

Families can ride or scoot over to the library for a fun and educational morning! Get fitted for a free bike helmet and learn safe cycling tips from John Boyd, Injury Prevention Specialist at Phoenix Children’s.
