In celebration of America 250 the library is hosting the Great Arizona Puppet Theaters presentation of The Little Red Hen.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to create a machine that solves a problem—maybe even saves the world! In 60 minutes, use Micro: bit and other mini-robotics platforms to explore coding, engineering, and creative problem-solving.

We make the funnies happen.  EVCT On the Spot is an improv theatre troupe for teens directed by Aaron Blanco.  Each semester, students develop and rehearse skills to tour improvised performances around the East Valley.

Music Bingo is an exciting twist on an old classic! To play, players listen to songs and mark them off their bingo cards when they recognize them. We will be playing a mixture of old classics and new favorites that all ages will enjoy.

It’s a monster hunting party, K-pop-style at the library! Join us for karaoke, music, crafts and more. Costumes encouraged. Ages 6+

Cookbook Club is a tasty gathering where participants bring in their own favorite dishes to share and discuss.

Slow stitching invites participants into a calming, meditative approach to hand-sewing that emphasizes process over perfection.

Come to the library to create a unique tie-dyed project! A limited supply of blank garments will be provided or bring your own blank shirt, towel, socks, or pillowcase.

We’ll break out the puzzles and families can choose their favorites to put together. Puzzles are beneficial for cognitive function, problem solving, and spatial reasoning.

Each month, we will show a different family-friendly movie. This month we will showing Tangled.
