As a pioneering canine behaviorist, Clive D.L. Wynne, PhD. studied the relationships between dogs and their humans. Scientists have been reluctant to call that association a love bond.  Dr. Wynne's studies have shown that a dog's ability to love is literally in their DNA. His book explains the research behind the emotional lives of dogs.

Dr. Wynne is the founder of the Canine Science Collaboratory at Arizona State University.
