Event Details

The June book for the IDEAS book group (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Sustainability) is Disability Visibility, edited by Alice Wong.  Alice Wong is a disabled activist.  She is also the founder and director of the Disability Visibility Project, an online community dedicated to creating, sharing, and amplifying disability media and culture.  This anthology is a collection of the life experiences of people with a variety of disabilities, some visible, some invisible.  It is a fitting way to mark the 30th anniversary of the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA).
