In 750 words or less, write the spookiest story you can. Here’s the catch – your story must take place in our eerie city of Mesa! Entry forms will be available at the children's service desks at all library branches beginning Oct. 1. Deadline for submission is Saturday, October 20th at 5pm. Winners will receive a ghoulish prize and their stories will be read at “Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark” on Oct. 29 at the Main Library and Oct. 30 at Red Mountain. Participants must be in grades 3-5.
