A 3,000-year-old man who witnessed the Trojan War is doomed to travel the world, telling what he saw until all war ceases to exist. This adaptation of Homer’s epic poem involves only one actor, who plays all of the major characters. Using Homer's Iliad as a springboard, the play examines mankind's addiction to war and violence.
The play features acclaimed Valley actor Clay Sanderson, who has starred in productions at Southwest Shakespeare Company, Phoenix Theatre Company, and many others. Mr. Sanderson holds an MFA in Acting from The Theatre School at DePaul University and is also a theater educator, specializing in classical theater and its connection to today.
