From January through March, the Mesa Public Library is hosting mystery author and writing coach Betty Webb as its very own Writer in Residence.

Join Arizona's Young Writers Foundation for this 4-session camp designed to teach and reinforce the basics of short story writing. Each week will build on the next, so please only register if you plan on attending all 4 sessions.

During this class, you will learn the guidelines and basics of 3D printing and how to begin using the 3D printers at THINKspot Red Mountain. When the class is over, you can sign a waiver and begin self-reserving our printers.

Leave the hedge trimmers in the shed because we'll discuss how keep plants looking natural as well as tidy with natural pruning. We will also talk about propagating plants, from both seeds and cuttings.

This program will provide a STEAM challenge and your task, if you choose to accept it, will be to solve the problem the challenge presents with something you’ve built and designed yourself.

Join local photographer Amy Dangerfield for a workshop about basic photo composition rules. This workshop will focus on cameras with manual settings.
