Week Calendar

Enjoy the entertainment of a Summer Reading Program in the comfort of your own home. Come by the Mesa Express Library to pick up a Take Home Program, complete the tasks, and earn summer reading points.  Supplies are limited. 

Families who craft together stay together. We’ll provide supplies, tools, and ideas to get you started, but the final creation is up to you.

Come explore your creative side at the library with LEGO®. Children can either follow a monthly theme or build from their imaginations. LEGO® and Duplo® blocks will be provided. Ages 5-12.

Fuel up with healthy food and enjoy an activity provided by the library. Meals must be eaten on-site. Ages birth-18.

Using water, oil, and drops of food coloring, we’ll create a dazzling display that mimics real fireworks right in a jar all while learning basic chemistry behind the process.

Are you a fan of the Pokémon© Trading Card Game? Then the Red Mountain Trading Card Game Club is the place for you! Bring your most powerful Pokémon© deck to the library and play against other kids in your community.

Don’t be bored, play a board game! Join us for an open-play board game afternoon where kids and families can relax, play, and connect. We’ll provide the games—you bring the fun.

Beat the heat with a dinosaur themed movie! This week, we'll be watching "The Good Dinosaur" (rated PG, run time 1 hour 33 minutes).

Bring the entire family and watch We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story in the library. Feel free to bring blankets and pillows to get comfy. Crafts, coloring sheets and limited snacks will be provided.
