Event Details
The Kith & Kin Project is a 12-week class that provides training and support to family,
friend, and neighbor (FFN) caregivers. FFN caregivers are aunts, uncles, grandparents,
siblings, friends, and neighbors that provide care to four or less children in their home.
Each 2-hour class is designed to improve the quality
of care provided to children and increase FFN caregivers' knowledge about early
childhood. Each weekly session focuses on a specific topic and includes information
sharing, discussion, skill building, and activities. Groups are held in a supportive
format where participants learn from their instructor, as well as each other.
